Women are half of the population in this world. But women have been suffering from discrimination and unequal treatment for centuries. Women in Tigrai like other part of Ethiopia or parts of the world are highly marginalized and disfavored from socio-political and economical benefits. The study attempted to investigate the relationship between micro-credit and women empowerment in Enderta woreda, Tigray, Ethiopia by collecting data from 152 respondents found in four branches. And the study found that micro credit enabled women to increase the level of decision making, power, income status and other social status.
