Maybe it is not the best book to learn Joomla, but it is one of the "easiest to read" book about Joomla that I found. For beginners it is just a begin and for advanced users can be a reference book. The practical samples at the end of the book are very useful. The beginning of the book, page after page is used explaining what the web is, how a CMS is different from just using a bunch of flat HTML files, how to use FTP, and how to make Web-safe graphics, which are unnecessary and waste of paper. I mean somebody who is interested to learn Joomla, knows already all these basic things. The example installation on GoDaddy.com is just a bias (product placement).Похожие книги
