The transition of modern economy to the economy based on knowledge and information makes human capital one of the main components for economic welfare. As one can understand the increase of human capital importance makes vocational and tertiary education more and more significant. Many European countries carried out a number of reforms in their education systems and implemented the statements of Bologna declaration. This book, therefore, considers how educational reforms and some other economic and social factors can influence human capital. It has two parts: a theoretical and an analytical one.
