Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is characterized by airflow limitation that is not fully reversible. It is a lifestyle related disease and the main risk factor is tobacco smoking. This book describes a cross-sectional study investigating the lifestyle characteristics of Japanese patients with COPD, including cigarette smoking, alcohol consumption, dietary supplements intake, physical activity and urinaryincontinence status.
