I bought this book to prepare for the related exam. I was pleasantly suprised to find that it is also a fantastic primer for SharePoint administration in general. The author explains concepts like SSP, which had alluded me previously, in simple terms.For my day job, I provide front end support to over 400 site collection owners. I have recommended this book to many of them as it is an excellent reference for grounding them in many of the basic /advanced concepts of SharePoint site functionality and site ownership.
I have already pre-ordered his next text on the 2010 exam in this area.
