Electrochemical technologies have regained their importance worldwide during the past two decades. There are many companies supplying electrochemical method treatment facilities for metal recoveries, treating drink water and various wastewaters. Now days, Electrochemical technologies are compared with other process by means of cost, efficient and compact. The development, design and application of electrochemical technologies for waste treatment have been investigated and some well known processes. Electrochemical processes are promising and alternative methods for treatment of organic wastes and waste water. Mediated electrochemical oxidation (MEO) is one of the sustainable process for waste treatment and has been employed for organic mineralization reactions.
