Tossed up for three stars, for the information and core concepts are good. There are some errors in the code that need to be addressed to get the scripts to function, but so far simple stuff. A couple of typos and the author calls class::method instead of object::method in a few places.Read through once, heavy on code light on explanation. Testing the scripts on my second time through. I currently finished chapter 2 today, now have to find and fix the bugs (bugs in text and down-loadable code).
Plans are to get the code operating as the author intended and then play around with areas my opinion differs from the author. Presented different ways of approaching the tasks and gives me something to good off with in my free time.
Not for the beginning scripter or programmer. If looking for working scripts out of the box, maybe in future version for it is not here.
