Erectile dysfunction is a common health problem. It affects millions of men worldwide, and has negative effects on self-esteem and self-confidence, well-being and happiness, personal relationships, satisfaction with sex life, and quality of life. Erectile dysfunction has recently been the focus of public attention due to the development of novel effective oral therapies. Epidemiological studies on the risk factors of erectile dysfunction are needed for developing prevention strategies. This book describes what is already known about the effect of smoking on erectile dysfunction and what Tampere Aging Male Urologic Study adds to our knowledge.
