Pieter Stockmans, ceramist, industrial designer and artist, is fascinated by the medium of porcelain. He designs industrially-produced tableware, makes objects in the traditional manner of a craftsman and creates artistic installations. In 1995 he was appointed a Cultural Ambassador of Flanders, has won the Henri Van de Velde Prize for whole oeuvre and teaches and exhibits ail over the world.
