During the silver boom in the 1860s, an old prospector, Bill Barton, discovered the richest silver mine ever under Apple Mountain in Colorado. He named it The Lollipop Mine because he and his dog, Silver Dollar Sam, loved lollipops! A no-good cutthroat coward named Swineback did in the old prospector and his faithful dog, Silver Dollar Sam, and stole the mine. Before dying, Old Barton swore that he would never leave the mine. Who would have guessed that, 135 years later, new friends, Bobby and Mikey, and Mikeys dog, Squash, would tumble, head over heels, into the old mineshaft.
