This review article focuses on some recent developments in the theory of the quantum Hall effect. While it covers diverse topics and somewhat different approaches, it has a major theme: there exists a unitary transformation that relates the properties of the two dimensional electron gas to the properties of a two dimensional Bose gas interacting with a fluctuating "statistical" gauge field.Похожие книги
