From the battlefield to everyday life sensors are being used. Now a days, Wireless Sensor Network is a very challenging and emerging reserach field. This book covers differentiated, coverage preserved, sensor scheduling model for a Heterogeneous Sensor Network. This book is written based on the PhD dissertation of the author. She worked on the applications of optimization methods under the supervision of Prof. Kendall E. Nygard of North Dakota State University, USA. The book introduces applications of Network Flow Modeling and Linear Programming method to find the solutions in a Heterogeneous Sensor Network.
